What is tested in the Home Kidney Health Test:
Creatinine: This chemical waste product is produced by muscle metabolism and by eating meat. Healthy kidneys filter creatinine and other waste products from your blood.
Specific Gravity (S.G.): Higher specific gravity could be signs of a kidney infection, or even kidney failure UTI. Other issues include diabetes or even dehydration.
Protein: High levels of protein in a urine sample can indicate kidney disease.
The test provides results based on Deficient, Insufficient or Excess. Both Deficient and Insufficient results can then be used to request a secondary test or consult further medical advice.
